Synopsis

The story is about a music guru who dies in a road accident, but his artistic soul migrates into an aspiring musician named Vishwa. This turns Vishwa into a virtuoso capable of fulfilling the guru's unfulfilled dreams. Vishwa falls in love with two women - Sharada, the guru's daughter, and Girija, a famous dancer whose father takes advantage of Vishwa's talent. With Sharada's help, Vishwa sets out to build a music college. Girija donates all her money to the college, but Vishwa loses his voice. Sharada teaches him how to regain his voice, but their relationship is complicated because Vishwa is essentially an extension of Sharada's father, which creates incestuous overtones. To overcome this, the film suggests that Sharada might be a goddess and has Vishwa marry Girija, who is self-sacrificing.
