During the Kadamba reign, a fictional feudal land King Vijayendra ruler of Bangras, on his venture to kantara meets his final fate in the mystical forest. On witnessing this, his son Rajashekara seals the borders. Later Prince Kulashekara reopens by killing them. Protagonist Berme seeking prosperity, crosses the divide sparking a clash of faith, power, destiny between the Kingdom and Nature.

ಕದಂಬರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲ್ಪನಿಕ ನಗರಿ ಬಾಂಗ್ರದ ಸಾಮಂತ ರಾಜ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ, ಕಾಂತಾರದ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಂತಿಮ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನ ಮಗ ರಾಜಶೇಖರ ಗಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ ಕುಲಶೇಖರ ಕಾಂತಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ಯಾಕಾಂಡದ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಕಾಂತಾರದವರ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ನಾಯಕ ಬೆರ್ಮೆ ಈ ಗಡಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವುದು-ಧರ್ಮ- ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧಿಯ ಘರ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ನಡುವೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

Rishab Shetty (b. 1983), in Keradi, Karnataka, is a powerhouse of contemporary Indian cinema. A graduate of Vijaya College and the Government Film and TV Institute, he began his journey as an assistant director before making his directorial debut with RICKY (2016). He rose to national prominence with the global phenomenon KANTARA (2022), which he wrote, directed, and starred in, earning him multiple accolades. Known for his deep-rooted storytelling and coastal Karnataka folklore, his acclaimed works include KIRIK PARTY (2016) and SARKARI HI. PRA. SHAALE (2018).
