Synopsis
BENKIYA KIDI traces the remarkable and inspiring journey of Nadoja Ko Channabasappa (KoChe) - a Kannada writer, lawyer, and freedom fighter. KoChe's life was dedicated to upholding his land of birth, culture, and language. Koche was also a journalist, a farmer activist, and a recipient of many awards including the prestigious Nadoja and Rajyotsava awards. This biopic, produced to commemorate his birth centenary year shares the extraordinary life story and personality of Shri KoChe.

Naveenkumar B Chikkabasuru, a seasoned Film Director and Editor based in Bangalore and has 15 years of storytelling expertise. Naveen’s diverse portfolio reflects his keen sense of visual storytelling, and has a unique acumen for biopic productions. At MAYA Films, they have co-directed documentaries, branding and promotional films for the government and healthcare sectors.
