This documentary follows Dukhu Majhi, an elderly man, as he tirelessly works to protect the environment. Despite extreme temperatures in his area, Dukhu is driven by childhood inspiration and a government campaign promoting tree planting. He believes trees provide shade and essential oxygen, crucial for survival. With basic tools and mounted on a cycle, Dukhu plants trees along roadsides and school grounds, ensuring their care and protection. Using cloth from a nearby crematorium, he shields his saplings from harm. Dukhu's philosophy, despite his poverty and lack of education, is both compelling and inspiring.
