Synopsis
12 years ago the students of a humble primary school in Matamoros were evaluated as the worst in the entire country. RADICAL is the story of how a teacher (Eugenio Derbez) transformed the reality of an entire community by teaching a new teaching method and taking the possibilities of each of the students to their maximum potential amid deficiencies and adversities.

Director's Biography
CHRISTOPHER ZALLA
Christopher Zalla was born in 1974 in Kisumu, Kenya. He is a writer-director whose first feature, SANGRE DE MI SANGRE, won the 2007 Grand Jury Prize at Sundance. He has directed network television (LAW & ORDER, SVU, CRIMINAL INTENT) and taught at Columbia University’s Graduate Film School.
