Synopsis

The film PAI TANG delves into the true story of the Tai Phake Tribes residing in Assam, whose population stands at a mere 2000. According to UNESCO reports, the very existence of their tribe is under threat. Descendants of Buddhism, the Tai Phakes, brought approximately 400 manuscripts to their Monastery in 1775, which are now preserved in their library. However, regrettably, the younger generation of this tribe struggles to read or write their language. The primary objective of this film is to raise awareness to safeguard the Tai Phake Tribes from extinction.
