Synopsis

When Vera was young, she gave her infant son up for adoption. Years later, she begins a seemingly futile search to find him. When Cora was young, she adopted a young boy, Egoz, after she was told she could not have children of her own. Now, the paths of these three characters - a mother, a son, and a mother - are about to cross. And their encounter will change their lives forever.

VÍCTOR IRIARTE

Víctor Iriarte (Bilbao, 1976) is an artist, filmmaker, and film programmer. He has been a member of the selection committee of the San Sebastian International Film Festival since 2015. He has been the director of film programming at the Tabakalera International Center for Contemporary Culture in San Sebastian for 9 years and a founding member of the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola film school. FOREMOST BY NIGHT (2023) is Victor's feature film debut.
